Asymmetrics upcycled earrings

My best friend pointed me to a site called Armor Jewelry and I am now completely fascinated by their designs. Of course, me being me, I looked at it and said "Hey, I can make that!" So this was my spin on one of their designs. (Theirs was only for one, but that was a little unbalanced for my taste.) This project was done at about 9 at night, made out of an old necklace (being a packrat pays off sometimes!) The hooks go through a normal ear piercing, of course, and the clasp on the left one is intended to be clipped onto the ring of an upper-ear piercing. Super-long and sassy, about 8.5" at the longest point.

This is why I keep all my old jewelry that I get tired of. If I don't use the bits and pieces on a plushie or something, I can always remake it into something awesome.
