Raziel - Soul Reaver plush by eitanya Raziel - Soul Reaver plush by eitanya
I just realized I forgot to post this! Finished it late last year, it was a birthday present and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. :D

Normally it's me squeeing all over the place when I get to do a character I like, but this time it was the hubby. He would just walk into my office and giggle (ok fine, I did too.) It was a challenge to make Plushie Raziel all bony and missing his jaw, but it worked! He also has his Reaver, but it took a while to figure that out and I didn't get to take pictures of it.

12" tall, all fleece with hand painted accents. The shading on the "bones" was actually eyeshadow pigment. Hey, whatever works. :P

So cute! Loved these games as a kid, now I'm buying a PS1 just to play them again. I can't believe you even included the missing jaw as well, it must of took you a while to figure out how to you were going to stitch everything!

God yes.  And I'm not even sure I remember how I did it, lol.

Will there be some sort of announcement if you ever start taking orders/commissions? How can we follow you most effectively to be in the loop? This is fantastic and adorable work.

Thank you very much!  I will post announcements here and on the Eitanya Designs facebook page when I get some open commission slots.  Either one is good, though I probably update facebook a little more often.  :)

Silly question but how much would it be to commission you and get it posted to the uk? ^^

I'm not taking any commissions right now, but my prices usually range from $100-135 and up, shipping to the UK depends on the speed but first class is usually around $10.

I know, I enjoyed the games. I'm a little iffy on the rumors that they're going to reboot the series. Not sure how I feel about that idea.

I'm not sure which piece you mean, and I'm not actually sure I remember how I did it, lol. I think I did a double layer for his face to give it some structure. The inside of his mouth I think was all one piece and I used a few stitches to pull it further back into his mouth after it was stuffed.

The two biggest issues here are Tony's death, and Amy Hennig working on other projects. In spite of loyalists most likely being willing to accept nothing less than the late, great Tony Jay, there are other voice actors who would, in my opinion, make quite the excellent Elder God; Joss Ackland and Earl Boen are both known for their deep baritones, and many folks have confused Tony with Joss or Earl. In fact, having played the Monkey Island games before I discovered Legacy of Kain, I had originally thought that Earl was voicing the Elder God.

Sadly, there's not much we can do about Amy's muse, but we can always fantasize.

...All this talk of the Elder God is making me wonder if you'd be willing to make a plushie of him...

So true, the voice acting and the writing are the two things I love about those games. I think I could deal with a new Elder God voice more easily than I could deal with a new writer, but in either case it would just depend on what they did with it.

As to making an Elder God plushie...oh man, I wouldn't even know where to start! All I remember are eyes and tentacles, lol. Did they ever actually show a good full shot of him?
