My goodness, so much to say on this one. First off, after this and Tirion, I believe I am fully over my fear of puff paint, lol. There's no way I could have embroidered all of the detail on this. I'm really happy with how the paint turned out though.
First removable helmet! It's a little tricky to get it back on him, and it does mess up his hair, but hey.
On the subject of his hair, guess who misread the colors in the reference pictures again? Yup, yours truly. I originally made him with brown hair and then found out it was wrong. Which sucks and is really hard to correct because it generally involves taking the plushie apart, but with all the armor already attached, it wasn't an option. After making all of that armor and doing all of that painting, I reeeeaally didn't want to remake the whole plushie. They say necessity is the mother of invention, but desperation isn't bad either. I managed to get all of his hair off (if anyone was worried about the hair not being well attached...don't. Believe me, it's on there.) After that I sewed a new back onto his head in the right color, then re-did the hair. I think I may do a tutorial on this. It sure beats having to remake a whole plushie!
12" tall, standing pattern, all fleece, details were hand painted with fabric paints.
and what about this plushie... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
