How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

I suppose I should update this so everyone knows I'm still alive.

I am, I promise! We survived the move and all the drama surrounding that, it was totally worth it. Soooooo nice to have my own studio space! ^_^ You wouldn't think making little 12" plushies would ultimately take up so much room but, believe me, it does.

Just a few more plushies and I will be all. caught. up.

I'm trying to get in touch with people that I've been discussing plushie orders with for a while now, after that I'll open up the commissions for everyone.

Oh man that sounds nice..! ^.^; I am fully ready to believe the space required since my stuff is currently spreading throughout the dining room that my sewing nook is next to. >_>; Hehe I entered your drawing too since I love your stuff and dragons as well. It sounds neat to do drawings like that..! The few times I've tried doing prizes I always felt guilty after for being behind on other things, but maybe if it was a hat or small doll that would be more doable...

Haha, yeah my hubby says we didn't buy a house, we bought an office. He's only half-joking.

I'm excited about the drawing, I feel like I should have thought of it before! Like you, I know I don't have much time to make extra things, but I always have little "idea" pieces lying around. Stuff I wanted to make just because I got the idea, not because anyone ordered them. I figure I can let them sit around until someone does buy them, or I can let someone enjoy them and if someone orders one I'll just make another!

Glad you've happily settled in! The studio space must be fantastic - although I don't sew frequently, when I do make things I manage to cover the entire room with fabric and patterns and general mess. It sucks as for a start it's a small room and for a second it's not my room and can't just leave it as a mess to continue the next day, instead have to get everything out and back away each time I want to do something.

Oh, I was in the same boat. I had a corner of our little bedroom for all my crafting stuff and it basically started piling up and spilling over the desk and across the floor and up the dresser... and I'm completely neurotic about keeping things organized so it drove me nuts. It's an amazing change. I feel so much more productive!

I'm still trying to decided what I should give away here on dA, but I think it should be even more epic.

I'm still unpacking from when we moved in July

From an outside perspective my room looks like a bombsite though contrary to belief I am by far one of the most organised people, you ask me where anything is and I could give you an exact location - looks a mess but everything has its place and I notice immediately when something has been moved

Sooner or later I will get my act together and re-arrange my room and bring down my sewing machine and have a corner designated to making things, and it will be amazing and motivating and productiv-ating!

All of your creations are incredible, whatever you choose it's guarenteed to be more epic than anything, especially to the person who wins it
