How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Wow. So many projects going right now I don't even know where to start. First of all, hi! I'm still here.

Plushie orders are horribly behind, and I do apologize for that. I've had delays of every possible kind, mostly the exciting and unexpected kind.

More on that later.

For now, I'm helping out with my very bestest friend's wedding next month, and my sister-in-law's wedding (also next month.) So that's been a priority lately. I know some people say "I got married before Pinterest was invented, I want a do-over!" Yeah, no. I'm happy to have it all over and done with.

Mass Effect Marathon 3 is coming up this fall!  This will be g33kWatch's last Mass Effect marathon, so let's make it memorable.  This time around I'll be donating a plushie Harbinger to be auctioned, again one-of-a-kind and will not be made again.  All the proceeds will go to Child's Play Charity.  Keep it in mind and start saving!  For the children!

On a random note: Hubby and I decided that A.) we need to go to a con of some sort soon, even if I don't get an artist's table, and B.) there must be costumes.  Geekery is best if it is embraced fully.  So that's another project we've been toying with.  Thanks to

for all of her sage advice. I'm having an absurd amount of fun with it so far, I'll have to post pictures once I have some decent progress.

I went to Comic Con this year, and if I go next year I HAVE to cosplay. Like...no questions asked. I'm already planning on renting out a garage at our apartment complex to be my workshop for some legit femShep armor! It's really busy and crazy...it's like nothing I've ever seen. But I LOVED it... (and I usually hate crowds!) There were so many cool people to see and meet that it made the pains of going to a huge con worth it. Hopefully I'll have something put together in time for Phoenix Comic Con in May, too. It's smaller but always fun.

I wish you the best in your endeavors the next few months! Take your time on the plushies, we know they'll be worth it.

Planning stages are moving right along! Cost and being able to find tools for the workshop will be the most prohibitive thing, but I am determined!

Wow! You sound very busy! I'm glad you are surviving, though (and having fun with a lot of it, it sounds like). Let me know about your cosplay experience. I've been wanting to get into that myself, but there usually aren't any good cons in my area, so that takes a lot of planning way ahead of time.

I've never done a proper cosplay. I was always the kid with the really elaborate Halloween costume that no one recognized, though, haha. I actually wanted to be a costume designer for a while, among many other things. I can live the dream for a day or two!

There are a couple of small cons around here now, thankfully. I'd love to do a big one like ComicCon, of course, but like you said, planning. It will still be fun.

Ooh, wedding cakes. My mom used to do that (and the catering and the floral arrangements.) It's not bad until you make a huge tall cake and look over and see a kid wobbling the table it's sitting on, lol. That'll give you a heart attack.

I've found two local cons so far, not sure which one I'm going to make it to. Maybe both! Two small cons equals one bigger con, right?

Yeesh, I didn't think about that aspect of a larger con. I don't do crowds. Smaller cons it is! (And possibly one video game midnight release, if I get the costumes done in time.)
