Sorry for neglecting all you lovely people on dA lately.  It's been a rough year in a lot of ways and an awesome year in others. 

I've decided that I'm not going to be taking any plushie commissions for the time being.  It took me so long to catch up on the last batch of orders I took, and I even had to refund the last ones because my hands were just hurting too much to finish them.  I feel terrible making people wait so long, and I'm learning the hard way that I can't just muscle through it like I always do.  The fine detail work that I love to do so much is unfortunately making my hand pain a lot worse, so I need a break.  (I also can't play Borderlands two nights in a row, lol.)

Sorry guys. I've been fighting this and putting it off for too long now because I didn't want to let anyone down. The thing about dealing with Fibromyalgia is that it's a constantly evolving process.  You have to adapt and overcome.  It's exhausting, but I'm thankful that I have the flexibility in my work and home life to do just that.  I'm choosing to look at it as a new adventure. 

  I'll still have most of my usual Etsy shop fodder up for sale since that hats and scarves don't seem to affect me as much.  I'm hoping that I'll FINALLY get those plushie patterns up and post some new tutorial videos.  I am taking a few costume and prop commissions here and there if I feel like it's something I can pull off well, I'm hoping to expand my portfolio this year and focus more on that.  Since costumes are full-scale, I'm learning that even the detailed ones aren't nearly as hard on my hands as the itty-bitty plushies.  I actually wanted to be a prop maker or costume designer growing up, so this feels kinda exciting! 

I will still make a few plushies here and there, most likely for charity auctions and maybe a few one-offs if I'm feeling up to it. Thank you all for sticking around!  Let's see what 2015 holds!
